A thriving workforce is a shared goal among all HR leaders. It is a unique time where there are more generations in the workplace than ever before and leaders' abilities to reimagine and reposition their offerings is the order of the day.

An organization’s ability to offer turnkey solutions that add immediate and long-term value and contribute positively to their well-being is paramount. Creating workplaces that are intentional in their commitment to add value beyond a paycheck is the thoughtful precipice of a more resilient workforce.

The reality is there has never been a more critical time for HR professionals to, not only be innovative, but also malleable, as it relates to the well-being needs of the up to six generations currently comprising the workforce.

Questions we can consider together include:

  • How do you define a resilient workforce?
  • How do you reimagine total rewards that employees actually want and incentivize them to engage in the programs available to them?
  • How do you respond to the internal and external influences that threaten resilience?

A workplace increases its resilience when a holistic well-being approach is part of a traditional benefits program. From a social perspective, the favorable results include reduced individual stress and increased focus. Likewise, business wins can include authentic goodwill efforts, gaining employee loyalty and productivity.

Join E4E Relief’s Managing Director, Growth and Development, Davida Rivens, as she examines both the root (hindrances to resilience) and the fruit (the short- and long-term results of a truly resilient workforce) on the proverbial tree of workplace resilience and offers practical application takeaways that can be implemented right away.

There is a distinct paradigm shift with respect to how stress is managed among workforces and why thriving – rather than simply surviving – is not just about the bottom line; it’s about the betterment of people. The genesis of the business resilience conversation is based on the conviction that prioritizing workforce well-being is no longer a nice-to-have. It’s the new non-negotiable.

Learning Objectives:

  • Assess the root causes of resilience deficiencies
  • Be intentional and creative with communication about the company’s investment in their workforce’s well-being
  • Communicate with compassion
