Rob Boonin is an attorney with the national law firm of Dykema Gossett, representing employers across the nation for over 35 years on wage and hour, discrimination, and union matters, to name a few. Rob is a founder and past chair of the national Wage and Hour Defense Institute, a Fellow and past president of the Litigation Counsel of America, a past chair of the Michigan Bar Association’s Labor and Employment Law Section, and a Fellow of the American College of Labor and Employment Lawyers. He is currently Co-Chair of the American Bar Association’s Federal Labor Standards Legislation Committee, former Co-Chair of the ABA’s FLSA Subcommittee, on the editorial board of the leading legal on the Fair Labor Standards Act - Bloomberg BNA’s “The Fair Labor Standards Act,” and is an editor of the legal treatise “Employment Discrimination.” He is regularly listed by Chambers USA as one of Michigan’s top employment law lawyers, regularly listed as a Best Lawyer in employment law, repeatedly recognized by his peers as one of Michigan’s Super Lawyers on labor and employment law matters, and has been repeatedly rated as a Michigan Lawyer of the Year in employment law.
