Almost half (47%) of job seekers are looking for opportunities through external platforms, and just 8% are looking on internal platforms, according to the latest findings from our Global Workforce of the Future whitepaper. This should be a wake-up call. It’s time for employers to re-imagine internal mobility by fostering a culture of empowerment and development that embraces nonlinear career paths, regular career conversations, and career transformation coaching.

Internal mobility is a key strategy for navigating turbulent times. It allows organizations to quickly adapt to evolving market conditions, ensuring their survival and competitiveness. Moreover, fostering internal mobility increases employee engagement, retention, and talent development. In the face of ongoing disruptions and the increasing demand for agile workforce strategies, internal mobility is essential for businesses to thrive.
