Workplace Application:
This session provides a new way to understand the important topic of microaggressions from the sender and receiver's point of view, along with practical strategies for effectively addressing them in the workplace. 

We will focus on understanding microaggressions through the lens of identity-based trauma and its impact on the receiver. In our time together we will examine the latest trauma research to understand the psychological effects of microaggressions on the receiver and the psychology of the sender; explore four patterns of perception that unintentionally create harmful behavior and the impacts individually and organizationally; and equip participants with practical strategies for identifying and addressing them in the workplace.
